Multi-Family Mortgage Assistance

HDC is committed to working with our borrowers who may be experiencing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Evaluating your need for financial relief will be done on a case by case basis. Tools that may be available for a qualifying property include releases from reserves, discontinuance of reserve for replacement deposits, and debt service forbearance for a limited time. 

In order to process a request for financial relief and to evaluate your financial situation, we ask that you complete the Mortgage Assistance Survey and provide us with your most current financial statement, operating budget and rent roll.  HDC is also requesting documentation on a resident’s inability to pay rent.  In the event of financial assistance from the government, this documentation will be crucial.  Please use the comments section to let us know if you are experiencing building staff shortages, maintenance issues and for any other concerns that you would like to bring to our attention.
