Wanjiru Bila
Executive Vice President of Asset Management
Wanjiru Bila was appointed Executive Vice President for Asset Management on June 4, 2024. She also serves as Executive Vice President for the New York City Residential Mortgage Insurance Corporation (REMIC), a subsidiary of HDC. Prior to joining the Corporation. Ms. Bila held several positions at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), including Executive Advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Public Housing Operations. Prior to joining NYCHA, Ms. Bila held various positions at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), including Assistant Commissioner, and Director of Finance, in the Office of Asset and Property Management. Ms. Bila holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Trent University and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.
